Η Ιουλία Τσέτη διακρίνεται ανάμεσα στον επιχειρηματικό κόσμο -και όχι μόνο, για την έμφαση που δίνει στον όρο «Καινοτομία». Οι Εταιρείες του ΟΦΕΤ έχουν σειρά διακρίσεων τόσο για τον τρόπο που λειτουργούν όσο και για τα προϊόντα που παράγουν, ενώ, επιπρόσθετα, η ίδια αναφέρεται στις ομιλίες και συζητήσεις της στο πλαίσιο των δράσεών της στον όρο «Καινοτομία», ως την βασική παράμετρο αναχαίτισης της επιστημονικής μεταναστευτικής αιμορραγίας και ως δομικού πυλώνα για την επιχειρηματική και βιομηχανική ισχυροποίηση της Ελλάδας.

Ως αποτέλεσμα αυτής της στρατηγικής της έμφασης, η ίδια ή / και ο ΟΦΕΤ, σήμερα μετρούν:

  • την ιδιοκτησία 100 Ιστορικών Διπλωμάτων (Εθνικές Αιτήσεις/Διπλώματα Ευρεσιτεχνίας) ως εφευρέτης/καταθέτης ως φυσικό πρόσωπο ή με την ιδιότητά της ως νόμιμη εκπρόσωπος των εταιρειών του ΟΦΕΤ
  • 41 Επιστημονικές εργασίες δημοσιευμένες σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά / βιβλία με κριτές
  • 24 Προφορικές & Αναρτημένες παρουσιάσεις σε Εθνικά & Διεθνή Συνέδρια

Από το 2018 έως και το 2023, ο ΟΦΕΤ έχει χρηματοδοτήσει με ίδιους πόρους πάνω από 45 εσωτερικά ερευνητικά προγράμματα, τα οποία εκπονούνται σε συνεργασία με εγχώρια Ακαδημαϊκά και Ερευνητικά Ιδρύματα, ενώ 28 ερευνητικά προγράμματα έχουν χρηματοδοτηθεί υπό μορφή χορηγιών & υποτροφιών από το Ίδρυμα ΑΜΚΕ «ΚΛΕΩΝ ΤΣΕΤΗΣ». Επίσης, κατά το ίδιο χρονικό διάστημα, ο ΟΦΕΤ έχει συμμετάσχει ως βιομηχανικός εταίρος με ιδιωτική συμμετοχή σε 10 εθνικά/διεθνή ερευνητικά προγράμματα συγχρηματοδοτούμενα μέσω της Γενικής Γραμματείας Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας (ΓΓΕΚ).

Ο Όμιλος Φαρμακευτικών Επιχειρήσεων Τσέτη, εκπόνησε επίσης μέσα στο πρώτο εξάμηνο του 2022, 28 ερευνητικά προγράμματα. Τα 8 από αυτά είναι συγχρηματοδοτούμενα με τη Γενική Γραμματεία Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας (ΓΓΕΚ) και τα 12 αφορούν άμεσα, ή έμμεσα, στην αξιοποίηση της βιοποικιλότητας της χώρας. Ήδη από την έναρξη του ακαδημαϊκού έτους 2022-2023, ο Όμιλος ΟΦΕΤ ξεκίνησε την εκπόνηση επιπλέον 5 καινούριων ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων, τα οποία προστέθηκαν στα ήδη τρέχοντα. Τα προγράμματα υλοποιούνται σε συνεργασία με Ακαδημαϊκά και Ερευνητικά Ιδρύματα.

Την 1η Ιουνίου 2022 επίσης, η διοίκηση του Ομίλου ανακοίνωσε συνεργασίες αιχμής στον τομέα της βιοτεχνολογίας με δύο κορυφαία Ινστιτούτα της χώρας: το Ινστιτούτο Μοριακής Βιολογίας και Βιοτεχνολογίας στην Κρήτη και το Ινστιτούτο Βιοϊατρικής Έρευνας στα Ιωάννινα. Και τα δύο Ινστιτούτα βρίσκονται υπό την ομπρέλα του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας.

Η κυρία Ιουλία Τσέτη, επισημαίνει, ότι «η συνεργασία με τα δύο Ινστιτούτα του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας θα έχει αμοιβαία οφέλη τόσο για το ίδιο το ΙΤΕ όσο και για τον ΟΦΕΤ, με κοινό στόχο την προαγωγή της εφαρμοσμένης έρευνας και της καινοτομίας, η οποία θα προέρχεται αμιγώς από ερευνητικά Ινστιτούτα με έδρα την Ελληνική περιφέρεια». Υπογραμμίζει ακόμη, ότι «στην Ελλάδα παράγεται βασική έρευνα, την οποία οι επιχειρήσεις θα πρέπει να υποστηρίξουν, με στόχο οι νέοι επιστήμονες να παραμείνουν στη χώρα μας και ταυτόχρονα να δώσουμε την ελπίδα σε όσους επιθυμούν, να ακολουθήσουν το ερευνητικό πεδίο προκειμένου η Ελλάδα να μεταμορφωθεί σε Κόμβο Καινοτομίας και Αριστείας».
